The Wonderlic Productivity Index - Background Questionnaire (WPI-BQ) is an integrity test that helps employers quickly determine whether a job candidate has the right combination of personality traits to become a productive, low-risk employee. This integrity test consists of items that measure three core personality dimensions: Conscientiousness, Stability and Agreeableness, plus additional questions used to uncover specific instances of self-reported behavioral risk.

The Wonderlic Productivity Index - Background Questionnaire helps measure three core attributes:

  • Conscientiousness - the tendency to be hardworking, dependable, efficient and achievement striving.
  • Stability - the tendency to handle stress effectively, maintain an even temperament and have a high degree of composure and self-confidence.
  • Agreeableness - the tendency to be courteous, helpful, trusting, good-natured, cooperative, tolerant and forgiving.

This integrity test is useful when candidates have little to no prior work experience, and will have access to company equipment, cash and merchandise, and/or perform their jobs with little direct supervision.
